Set of oil sticks R&F 6x38ml - Earth Tones

Oil paint in the form of a fine stick extending the possibilities of oil painting with unconventional approaches. The binder remains partly linseed oil, but it is partly replaced by neutral mineral waxes, which give the colour a solid consistency. The colours are highly pigmented and have good lightfastness.

You can remove the paint from the stick with a brush or palette knives, but it is also possible to apply it directly to the canvas by drawing. The layer applied in this way should be no thicker than 1 mm. The applied paint can be washed with all traditional thinners for oil paints - turpentine, white spirit and solventless thinners.

Set in blister pack. Individual shades can also be purchased to extend the colour range.
