Firma Koh-i-noor založena již roku 1790 je největším českým a jedním z největších evropských výrobců uměleckých, školních a kancelářských pomůcek. Od roku 1848 sídlí v Českých Budějovicích, kde probíhá i dnes velká část výroby. Původní zakladatel Josef Hardtmuth je vůbec vynálezcem tužky jak ji dnes známe – a tužky patří mezi hlavní produkty firmy stále. Koh-i-noor dnes zahrnuje také pastelky, pastely, tuše, barvy, papíry, bloky a mnoho dalších materiálů. Oblíbené jsou především ve školách a mezi těmi, kteří hledají rozumnou kvalitu za přijatelné ceny.
