Encaustic
Enkaustika je starověká technika pocházející původně z Řecka při které se používá pro kresbu nahřátý vosk. Vosk smíchaný s pigmentem se nahřeje a v tekuté podobě je poté tvořeno samotné dílo. Následně vosk zatvrdne a kresba se stane pevná a odolná. Enkaustiku můžete používat na speciální papír, upravené dřevo nebo i plátno. V dnešní době se pro zjednodušení využívá většinou již připravených barevných vosků, které stačí pouze nahřát.
