Značka Umton je v současnosti jediným opravdu umělecky zaměřeným výrobcem barev v České Republice. Historie firmy spadá až do počátků 20. století, konkrétně do roku 1910. Od druhé světové války pak výroba probíhá v severočeském Děčíně, kde sídlí dodnes. Hlavním zaměřením firmy jsou mistrovské olejové barvy, dále vyrábí také akvarelové a temperové barvy a média.
