Oil colours
Impasto medium Lefranc 60mlAn oil painting medium similar in composition to Flemish paste medium. It gives the paints a stiff consistency. It is advisable to dilute the colour paste with Flemish medium, which softens it and prevents cracks from forming. The medium can be applied under the paint undiluted, but not in a layer thicker than 5 cm. It is applied always on a non-greasy substrate. When applying glazes, they are diluted only with Flemish medium, which gives the painting vibrancy and depth.
It is diluted with turpentine and kerosene oil.
