Acrylic colours
Fabric medium Liquitex 118ml for fabric paintingMedium created for better application of acrylic paints on textile surfaces. Acrylic itself is not ideal for direct application - it is too thick, too hard after drying, etc. When using Fabric media, however, the acrylic paint is significantly modified.
The medium dilutes the colour so that it gets between the individual fibres and blends well with the textile surface. Even after drying, the paint is soft and flexible, so it is not unpleasant even on parts of textiles that often bend (t-shirt, etc.). After drying, the textile can be washed by hand or in the washing machine (however, we recommend washing gently).
For optimum density and functionality, dilute 1:1 for less dense colours, dilute even more for thicker ones. Then apply with a brush or roller. No need to iron.
