Lascaux 2046 Impasto Gel 2 Matt - various sizesMatte acrylic pasty gel suitable for impasto techniques and relief work. It is clear, elastic, has good adhesion. It does not form cracks even in thick layers. It is suitable for adjusting colors, while acquiring a fuller consistency. An admixture of matte gel reduces brilliance, shine and slightly increases transparency. It slows down the drying of the paint.
The structures are made using a palette knife or a bristle brush. The gel is applied undiluted or diluted with only a small amount of water. The structures are clear and elastic after drying. Very thick layers take several days to dry.
The product can also be used as a protective varnish or a protective structured layer in the interior. It's withlightfast and resistant to ageing. It's diluted with water.
