Woodcarving
Chisel Stubai fine U tapered 5556 - various widthsCarving chisel of the highest quality from the Austrian manufacturer Stubai. It is made of hardened steel of exclusive series No.55 with hardness 58-60 HRC. the Chisel is set into a solid wooden handle 125-145mm long (depending on size), which is shaped into an octagon - the ideal shape for the chisels according to research. The processing of the chisels blade is done exclusively by hand. Every single chisel is tested and inspected after production. We offer sizes from 4mm to 16mm.
We recommend sharpening with an Arkansas sharpening stone. Thanks to the high quality of the steel, the chisel remains sharp for a long time, and with proper handling, the chisel is essentially for life.
