Modurite is a modelling material with a wide range of applications for imagination and skilful hands, for creative work of adults and children, and for artists. It is also used in the industrial field in automotive and engraving. Modurite is a whitish, plastic, semi-rigid and easily mouldable polymer-based material. It is non-hazardous, non-flammable. Modurite is cured by heat in boiling water or in hot air at a temperature of 100°-110°C. When boiled in water, it takes about 15 minutes to cure a 1 cm layer. The mass cannot be overcooked. A microwave oven must not be used to cure modurite.Modurite can be coloured on the surface with various acrylic, latex and other artists' paints. Tempera or oil paints can be used to colour the modurite. When working with Modurite, care must be taken to keep hands and tools clean.
