Wedges for finishing canvas - spruce
Wooden wedges for finishing the canvas at stretcher bars. To finish one canvas, you will need 8 pieces of wedges, or more for frames with a central crossbar. Relatively soft spruce wood, this is an economical variety.
In each corner we insert 2 wedges, first in the lower groove and then in the upper one. Gently tap the wedges into the grooves using a hammer. Instructions for stretching canvases HERE
