Picture cleaner Old Holland Picture cleaner 1000mlA product for cleaning oil paintings of dust, smoke and other impurities. You can dilute using white spirit.
Application: use only on images fixed with final varnish. First, test the product on a small area at the edge of the painting using a cloth. If the product washes out even a small part of the image, abort the process immediately - the image is either not varnished or is varnished incorrectly and could be damaged. If everything is OK after testing, you can proceed. Gently spread the product over the surface of the painting and leave it on for a few minutes to a few tens of minutes. Then remove the product from the image again very gently together with the dirt.
The cleaner can also serve as a glossy wax varnish - so you don't have to worry if a small layer of the product remains on the image after cleaning.
Available in 250ml and 1000ml sizes. Manufactured by the Dutch brand Old Holland.
Unfortunately, the 1000ml pack cannot be sent by normal transport service due to the risk of damaging such a large glass bottle. Please choose delivery to a branch or by our Artikon transport in Prague.
