Paraloid™ B-72 is an excellent all-purpose acrylic resin. It can be applied in clear or pigmented coatings by various methods. It is supplied in fine granules.

It is used to strengthen natural stone, plaster, wood, etc. It is also suitable for the impregnation and strengthening of murals and paintings, where it is used as a basic impregnation and final finish. It is also used as a fixative for paintings, graphics, chalk, charcoal, pastel drawings and various art objects, as a glue for glass and ceramics, for the consolidation and conservation of wood. The concentration and suitable solvent are chosen according to the purpose of use and the specific material. For unevenly absorbent substrates, it is better to use a lower concentration and repeat the application.
